Dear all, | Annwyl Pawb,
Our aim through this challenging year has been to look after our team & customers in every way possible.
We set out to provide welcoming, safe spaces, serve tasty dishes packed with locally sourced produce, & provide a consistent level of service during very inconsistent times.
We feel we achieved this. Since re-opening in July, we welcomed 200,000 of you back to Dylan’s, and we did all this safely.
Unfortunately, the regulations announced by Welsh Government yesterday have made it impossible for us – along with many others in the hospitality industry - to remain open through the coming weeks.
The combined impact of a 6pm closure & ban on alcoholic drinks would reduce our business by 65% during the winter season. Continuing to open under these regulations is simply not sustainable.
It is with reluctance then, that we announce another temporary closure for Dylan’s Criccieth, Llandudno & Menai Bridge.
We wish to honour as many of our bookings as we can, so we look forward to remaining open for service until 6pm on Sunday 6th December at all our restaurants – a last non-alcoholic hurrah before temporary closure!
The effects of this are significant, & we feel strongly for our local suppliers & producers whose businesses rely, in no small part, on the hospitality industry.
Our Baked Goods & General Store in Menai Bridge will remain open 7 days a week & with a focus on our local produce offering, as we continue to adapt in the face of these challenges.
Diolch yn fawr iawn o waelod ein calon ni am eich cefnogaeth trwy 2020. Gwelwn ni chi i gyd yn fuan.
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your support through 2020. See you all soon.
- Team Dylan’s
